After working seven years abroad, I returned to Berlin in the beginning of 2022. My first assignment was the growing tension and aggression by Russia towards Ukraine in early February.
We came to witness the first weeks of the war and have returned ever since. The first frames show Ukraine a couple of days before the war on the streets of Kyiv, the following pictures displays Ukrainians away from the frontlines, managing their lives despite the air raids and bombings.
